Thought : User Freedom-Customized Content

Welcome to CodeSpread!

This article analyzes the gap between our expectations from internet content and how it is being served to us.

We are information hungry people and Internet is full of information but still not enough to fill our appetite. Where’s the gap? It’s a normal need of a user to collect or read only the relevant part then why sites are showing either copied ,junk, irrelevant content. When we type in our query in Google search engine, we only get the search results matching the keywords of our query but not the solution. Then we have to filter out relevant content required by us. So, the point is human intervention is required to achieve the desired results.

We filter the search results by putting more keywords so why not, we are allowed to filter the site content. My idea is that each section of a site should be designed as a widget and user should be given the rights to filter the sections required. Even , the search results should show only the widgets of a site and not the whole site. It would not only help the user to reach the exact match in much less time plus user will spend less time and less keywords.

if each site is assessed by a single authority to filter out the irrelevant part then only full moderation can be achieved and internet can only be used to serve valuable content. Either, Classic search engine capabilities should be revised or new, innovative approach is required to reach out the exact solution of our queries.

There will be a time when on providing a query to search engine, only the solutions will be proposed and if required, may be,one more tab would be there to provide matching results.

Please express your imagination and innovative ideas to improve the current situation for the sake of user freedom. Thanks!
