Creation of DemoSpace

The Backend URL shown in the article : NetBiscuits: How fascinating can it be to create a mobile website? is the Demospace server location where the Published files of the applications will be placed. A folder with the application name needs to be created in the demospace server.

In order to do this, configure a Demospace server like a regular server and do a remote login to the Demospace server . Other steps which needs to be followed are:

  •  Create a folder in one of drive with the name as that of application name, and it will contain the Published files  of this Application.

 E:\PublishedXYZMobile\

  •  Open the IIS and Go to Sites-> demospace -> add Application (as shown in figure below)

  • Fill in the details in the boxes and browse to the physical Path and click OK. Once done, your site is ready to run once the files are placed in the respective folder .

Now you are ready to go ahead with the Application development.
